The Rings Of Saturn

The rings of Saturn were are made from space debris colliding with a moon. After the collision the debris was then pulled in Saturn's gravity like a tractor beam and was the floating around Saturn to the form the rings. They dont orbit it either. They are just there.(pic on the right) There is a system of these rings called THE RING SYSTEM OF SATURN. In this system it is divided into 5 major components. These componets are the G,F,A,B and C rings of Saturn. F and G are hard to see because they are the thin ones in space, while A,B and C are broad and easily visible. Also there is a huge gap between A and B. This gap is known as the Cassini Division. In addition a spaceship called Pioneer 11 in 1979 was blasted off into space and the ship took pictures of the rings to get a better understanding of what they really were. These pics were better than the other ones the telescopes took. The image “http://www.outer-space-art-gallery.com/images/bergeronsaturn.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
